Emet Mandell
Chicago-based Actor, Singer, and Comedian.
About Me
Originally from Highland Park, Illinois, Emet Mandell is an actor, singer, comedian, improviser, and frequent sarcasm-user. A soon-to-be graduate of Northwestern University’s Theatre Department, Emet Mandell is currently a student in The Second City Conservatory in Chicago.
During his time at Northwestern where he double-majored in Theatre & Political Science, Emet played roles such as Uncle Fester (The Addams Family), Howie (Do You Feel Anger?), Duke of Ephesus (The Comedy of Errors), and many more.
He fostered his love for comedy as the host of The Blackout Late Night Show where he created and starred in his own show, Emet Mandell: Family First, a playful nod to his studies in both theatre and politics. Alongside being a student at The Second City, The iO Theatre, and The Annoyance Theatre in Chicago, he continued honing his improv skills as a member of the inaugural group of improvisers in Northwestern’s Overtime Comedy group, inspired by ComedySportz Chicago.
When he’s not performing, Emet enjoys trying out new recipes, watching movies, and manifesting his dreams of being an actor, a repertory player on Saturday Night Live, a late-night show host, and a future winner of The Traitors.
